Clients on the Platform

As a client on our platform, you have access to a wide range of services provided by talented freelancers from different fields. The platform allows you to post projects, hire freelancers, and ensure that your projects are completed according to your specifications. This section covers the key responsibilities, terms, and processes related to clients. By using the platform, you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this document.

Overview of Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to act in good faith when interacting with freelancers, providing accurate and timely information, and fulfilling their payment obligations. Additionally, clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information, including payment methods and communication.

Sections Included:

  • Client Agreement
  • Client Payment Terms
  • Client Dispute Resolution
  • Client Termination

Client Agreement

The Client Agreement outlines the key responsibilities of clients when using the platform. By agreeing to these terms, you commit to using the platform in a lawful, ethical, and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Clients are required to create and post detailed and accurate project descriptions when hiring freelancers. This helps ensure that freelancers understand the scope of work and can deliver satisfactory results.
  • Clients must maintain up-to-date and accurate account information, including contact details and payment information.
  • Any communication between clients and freelancers must be respectful, professional, and related to the work being performed. Clients should avoid making unreasonable requests or asking for services that fall outside the agreed scope of work.

Good Faith and Ethical Conduct

The platform promotes ethical collaboration. Clients are expected to:

  • Engage in fair negotiations with freelancers.
  • Ensure timely payment once the agreed-upon services are delivered.
  • Avoid cancelling projects without valid reasons after work has begun. Unnecessary cancellations may lead to penalties and suspension from the platform.

Violation of Agreement

Any violations of the client agreement, such as submitting fraudulent information, engaging in unethical behavior, or violating platform rules, may result in suspension or termination of your account. You will receive notice of any such violations and have the opportunity to appeal.

Client Payment Terms

This section covers the payment obligations of clients, including how payments are processed, the available payment methods, and the responsibilities of clients in ensuring timely payment for services.

Payment Methods

Clients can pay for freelancer services through various secure payment methods, including:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard)
  • PayPal
  • Stripe
  • Local payment services (e.g., Twint)

Payment Process

Payments are held in a secure escrow account during the course of the project. Upon completion and approval of the work by the client, the payment is released to the freelancer. This ensures that both parties are protected throughout the process.

Billing Cycles

Clients are billed based on agreed project milestones or upon final completion of the work. The platform supports partial payments for large projects, ensuring freelancers are compensated for ongoing progress.

Late Payments

Late payments may result in additional fees and could affect the client’s account standing. Repeated payment delays may lead to account suspension or restrictions on future project postings.

Client Dispute Resolution

The platform is committed to fostering positive relationships between clients and freelancers. However, in the event of a disagreement, a structured process is available to resolve disputes fairly and efficiently.

Initial Steps

Clients must first attempt to resolve disputes directly with the freelancer through clear communication. If the issue remains unresolved, clients can escalate the matter to the platform for mediation.

Mediation Process

If mediation is required, both parties will submit their case, including any relevant documentation and communication history. The platform will review the evidence and attempt to help both parties reach a fair resolution.

Arbitration and Final Decision

If mediation fails, the platform may escalate the issue to arbitration. In this phase, the platform will make a final decision based on the evidence presented. The decision made by the arbitration team is final and binding for both parties.

Refund Policy

Depending on the outcome of the dispute, clients may be eligible for a full or partial refund if the work delivered by the freelancer does not meet the agreed-upon terms. Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days.

Client Termination

The platform reserves the right to terminate client accounts under specific conditions. This section outlines the reasons for termination and the process involved.

Reasons for Termination

Client accounts may be terminated for reasons including:

  • Repeated violations of platform rules or the client agreement.
  • Fraudulent activity, including non-payment for services rendered or misuse of payment methods.
  • Inappropriate behavior toward freelancers or other users.
  • Consistent disputes or project cancellations without valid reasons.

Termination Process

In the case of termination, the platform will provide notice to the client, outlining the reasons for the decision. The client will have the opportunity to appeal the termination within a 7-day window. During the appeal process, the account will remain suspended.

Impact on Active Projects

If a client account is terminated while projects are active, those projects will be paused. The client will be responsible for resolving any outstanding payments or obligations to freelancers before the account is fully terminated. If the client is unwilling or unable to meet these obligations, the platform may refund freelancers or take other measures to protect their interests.

Freelancers

The "Freelancers" section includes all relevant information, guidelines, and rules that apply to freelancers on our platform. It serves as a comprehensive guide covering freelancers' obligations, rights, and responsibilities while working on the platform. Key areas such as the Freelancer Agreement, Payment Terms, Dispute Resolution, Termination, and Payment, Fees & Taxes are explained in detail to ensure clarity and smooth interactions.

This section provides freelancers with important information regarding account management, compliance with platform rules, and the process for payments and dispute resolutions. Additionally, it covers the tax obligations freelancers must adhere to when earning income through the platform. Each subsection offers specific details to support freelancers in navigating their work and responsibilities effectively.

Freelancer Agreement

This section outlines the agreement between the platform and freelancers. Freelancers are expected to provide accurate and truthful information about their skills, experience, and availability. They are obligated to deliver their services as agreed upon in the contract with the client, while adhering to the platform's rules and policies.

Freelancer Obligations

Freelancers must perform their duties with professionalism, diligence, and in accordance with industry standards. They are required to:

  • Deliver the agreed-upon work within the deadlines set by the client or platform.
  • Communicate any delays or issues proactively and transparently to the client.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive or proprietary information shared by the client.
  • Ensure the work submitted is original and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of third parties.

Project Scope and Revisions

Freelancers are required to deliver work as outlined in the initial project agreement. If the client requests changes or additional work beyond the original scope, freelancers have the right to request additional compensation. Standard agreements may include up to 2-3 rounds of revisions to ensure the client is satisfied with the outcome. Additional revisions or major changes may be subject to further negotiation and extra fees.

Non-Disclosure and Data Privacy

Freelancers must maintain the confidentiality of any information or materials provided by the client for the purpose of the project. All data provided by clients, including personal or project-related information, must be handled securely and not disclosed to third parties without explicit permission. Freelancers are also required to comply with the platform's privacy and data protection policies.

Compliance with Platform Policies

Freelancers are expected to adhere to all platform policies, including acceptable use, intellectual property guidelines, and dispute resolution processes. Violation of platform policies may result in account suspension, termination, or other penalties as deemed appropriate by the platform.

Dispute Resolution and Penalties

Should any disputes arise between freelancers and clients, freelancers agree to engage in the platform's mediation process before taking any legal action. Disputes related to payment, quality of work, or deadlines will be handled through the platform's resolution system, which aims to achieve a fair outcome for both parties.

Violations of this agreement, such as failure to deliver work, providing false information, or breaching client confidentiality, may result in penalties, including but not limited to termination of the freelancer’s account, loss of platform privileges, and potential legal consequences.

Freelancer Payment Terms

Payment terms for freelancers on the platform follow a structured approach to ensure security and transparency for both freelancers and clients. The key points of the payment process are outlined below:

1. Payment Structure

Freelancers receive an initial **non-refundable deposit of 30%** upon project commencement. This deposit secures the freelancer's time and commitment to the project. The remaining 70% of the payment is released only after the client has confirmed the satisfactory completion of the project. This ensures that both parties are protected throughout the process.

2. Escrow Service

To offer additional security, payments can be managed via an escrow service. This service holds the full project funds until the freelancer has completed the work and the client has approved the final deliverables. Only after approval will the funds be released to the freelancer, providing an extra layer of trust for both parties.

3. Revision Terms

Freelancers agree to provide up to **3 free revisions** to ensure the client's satisfaction with the work delivered. Any additional revisions beyond this, or new requests that were not part of the original agreement, may incur additional fees, which will be communicated and agreed upon in advance.

Freelancer Dispute Resolution

Disputes between freelancers and clients are handled through a structured resolution process. Freelancers can raise disputes if payment is delayed, if the client fails to approve completed work without justification, or if there is a breach of contract by either party. Both freelancers and clients are encouraged to communicate openly to resolve issues before escalating to a formal dispute.

Mediation and Platform Support

If a mutual agreement cannot be reached through direct communication, the platform offers mediation services to assist both parties in finding a fair solution. Mediators will review all relevant project details, including the agreed-upon terms, work completed, and any communication between the freelancer and client, to help resolve the issue. Both parties are required to cooperate fully with the mediation process.

Cancellation Policy

If a project is canceled after work has started, a cancellation fee of 1/3 of the total project cost will be retained to cover the freelancer's time and effort. This fee is intended to protect freelancers from unnecessary cancellations that waste time and resources.

However, if both the freelancer and the client mutually agree to cancel the project without any party being at fault or if the reasons for cancellation are justified (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or personal emergencies), no cancellation fee will apply. In these cases, the platform may facilitate the cancellation without penalties, provided both parties submit the necessary documentation or evidence.

Unjustified Cancellations

If the client cancels the project for unjustified or unnecessary reasons that negatively impact the freelancer's work, the cancellation fee will be enforced. This applies to scenarios where the freelancer has already dedicated significant time and resources to the project, but the client cancels due to a change of mind or reasons unrelated to the quality of work provided.

Escalation to Arbitration

In cases where mediation does not result in a resolution, the dispute can be escalated to formal arbitration, where a third-party arbitrator will make a final binding decision. Both parties must agree to abide by the arbitrator's ruling, and any further legal recourse will be in accordance with the platform’s governing law.

Freelancer Termination

Freelancers may have their accounts terminated for failing to comply with platform rules, violating client agreements, or engaging in unethical activities such as fraud or misrepresentation. In cases of termination, the freelancer will be notified of any violations and given an opportunity to appeal the decision before the account is fully deactivated.

Account Suspension

If a freelancer's account is temporarily suspended, all active projects will be paused, and the clients involved will be informed. During the suspension period, clients have the right to cancel the project without incurring any fees, and any unused funds will be refunded. The freelancer will not be able to work on or manage projects during the suspension, and they must resolve the issue that led to the suspension before reactivation.

Account Bans and Permanent Termination

In the case of a permanent ban or account termination, all ongoing projects will be immediately terminated, and clients will receive a full refund without any cancellation fees. Clients will be notified of the freelancer’s account ban, and the platform will facilitate the return of funds. Freelancers cannot appeal a ban if it results from serious violations like fraud or breach of platform policies.

Voluntary Account Deletion

If a freelancer decides to delete their account, the platform will notify all clients with active projects. These projects will be terminated, and any paid funds will be refunded to the client. No cancellation fees will apply in such cases. Once an account is deleted, the freelancer cannot restore the account, and all associated projects and data will be permanently removed.

Freelancer-Initiated Termination of a Project

Freelancers may choose to terminate an active project at any time, provided they notify the client. Upon termination, the client will receive a full refund, and no fees will be applied. Clients cannot refuse a freelancer’s termination request. However, if the freelancer has already completed substantial work on the project, they can file a dispute or appeal to recover payment for the work done. This will be reviewed through the platform’s dispute resolution process.

Freelancer Payment, Fees & Taxes

Payments

Freelancers can receive payments through several supported payment methods, including Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa), PayPal, Twint, and Stripe. Payments are managed via an escrow-like system to ensure the security of funds for both freelancers and clients. Once a project has been initiated, the agreed-upon funds are held in a secure cloud-based account. The funds will only be transferred to the freelancer upon successful project completion, or refunded to the client in the case of a cancellation.

During the project, both parties can review and approve the progress through the platform's tools. Upon project completion, the client confirms the delivery and approves the final transfer of funds to the freelancer. If a project is canceled, depending on the terms, the funds may be refunded or partially disbursed to cover the freelancer’s time and effort, in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Fees

The platform applies a progressive fee structure based on the freelancer's total earnings with a client. This fee system is designed to promote long-term collaborations by reducing fees as the relationship grows:

  • 17% fee for the first 500 CHF/Euro/Dollars earned with a client.
  • 15% fee for transactions between 501 and 1,000 CHF/Euro/Dollars.
  • 10% fee for transactions between 1,001 and 5,000 CHF/Euro/Dollars.
  • 5% fee for transactions between 5,001 and 10,000 CHF/Euro/Dollars.

There are no fees on tips (gratuities) that are under 10 CHF/Euro/Dollars. For tips that exceed this amount, a 5% fee will be applied to the portion exceeding 10 CHF/Euro/Dollars. Freelancers are encouraged to offer a high standard of service to potentially receive gratuities, which are exempt from most platform fees under certain conditions.

The fee structure is transparent, and freelancers will see the fee deducted at the time of payment processing. Invoices for each completed transaction are available in the freelancer's dashboard for review and record-keeping.

Taxes

Freelancers are responsible for handling all tax obligations related to the income earned through the platform. The platform does not withhold taxes on behalf of freelancers unless required by law in specific jurisdictions. Freelancers must report their earnings and pay any applicable income taxes, VAT, or other relevant taxes as mandated by their local or national tax authorities.

It is highly recommended that freelancers consult with a tax professional to ensure they are meeting all necessary tax obligations. The platform provides freelancers with detailed transaction records, which can be used for tax reporting purposes. These records include the total income earned, fees deducted, and any applicable charges.

Failure to comply with tax laws may lead to penalties or legal consequences. As part of responsible business practices, freelancers are advised to keep accurate financial records and to understand their local tax requirements.

JumpPad Features

JumpPad is a feature designed for freelancers to bring creative projects to life. Only registered freelancers can create a JumpPad to ensure professionalism and quality. Each JumpPad has a maximum duration of three months, during which it must reach its funding goal. If the goal is not met, all collected funds are automatically refunded to the backers.

Use of Funds

Funds collected through JumpPad must be spent entirely on the platform. Funds cannot be transferred to external accounts unless specific approval is obtained for exceptional cases, such as living expenses for project creators. All other expenses must occur directly through platform tools and services.

Managing a JumpPad

Upon successful funding, the project creator has three days to initiate a vote on how to allocate any remaining funds. Options for using excess funds include:

  • Reinvesting funds into a new project.
  • Requesting an approved payout of the balance.
  • Distributing leftover funds to backers.
  • Contributing the remaining funds to the general pool.

The General Pool

The general pool supports projects that are close to their funding goal. Every month, the three projects nearest to completion will receive a share of the general pool to help them succeed.

Living Off Donations

If project creators need to use funds for personal living expenses, they must declare this upfront when launching the project. All such cases undergo a review to ensure the appropriate use of funds, and payouts are only made under strict conditions.

Voting on Excess Funds

After reaching the funding goal, the project creator must send out a voting request within three days. Donors can vote on how to use any remaining funds. If a tie occurs or no votes are cast, the funds will be distributed back to the donors or moved into the general pool, depending on the situation.

Transparency and Publishing

All JumpPad projects must be transparent. Freelancers can create rewards for backers, which must be clearly titled and delivered upon successful project completion. Once published, projects are open for public backing.

Platform Terms for JumpPad

Responsibility of Project Creators

Freelancers creating JumpPad projects are responsible for the accurate setup and management of their project, including transparency about funding goals and the delivery of rewards. Mismanagement or misuse of funds can result in penalties, removal of the project, or suspension from the platform.

Backer Responsibilities

Backers must ensure they understand the project and its goals before committing funds. JumpPad follows an all-or-nothing model, where funds are only transferred if the project reaches its target. Otherwise, all pledges are refunded.

Prohibited Activities

JumpPad users are prohibited from:

  • Misrepresenting project details or engaging in fraudulent fundraising.
  • Using funds for purposes outside of the platform without authorization.
  • Posting or sharing inappropriate or illegal content within the project space.
  • Manipulating or inflating funding totals artificially.

Consequences of Violation

Violations of these terms will result in immediate suspension or termination of the project. Funds will be frozen, and legal action may be pursued depending on the severity of the violation. Backers may receive refunds under specific circumstances.

Content and Usage in JumpPad

Users of JumpPad are responsible for all content they create, submit, or share within their projects. All content must comply with platform policies and intellectual property laws, ensuring that projects remain ethical and legal.

Intellectual Property Rights

When submitting content (such as descriptions, media, or updates) to a JumpPad project, users must ensure that they have full rights to the content, or that they have obtained proper permissions from the original creator. Any content that violates intellectual property laws will be removed, and the responsible user may face suspension or legal consequences.

Project Content

Project creators maintain ownership of the content they produce, but by sharing content on the JumpPad platform, they grant the platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute the content for purposes related to the operation and promotion of JumpPad.

Guidelines for Content Submission

Content submitted for JumpPad projects must follow specific guidelines to ensure quality and compliance with platform rules. The following types of content are strictly prohibited:

  • Content that promotes hate speech, violence, or discrimination.
  • Adult content, including pornography.
  • Illegal or fraudulent content, including scams or misleading information.
  • Content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.

Moderation and Compliance

JumpPad reserves the right to review, moderate, or remove any content that violates these guidelines. Content that fails to meet these standards can lead to penalties, including project suspension or termination. Repeat offenders may face account bans and legal action if necessary.

Transparency in Project Updates

Project creators are required to provide regular updates and transparent communication with backers. All updates must adhere to these content guidelines, and any false or misleading information may result in project removal.

  • Intellectual Property Rights: Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others. Uploading or sharing copyrighted material without permission is prohibited and may result in legal action.

Responsibility for Content

  • No Harmful Content: Users are prohibited from sharing any content that contains malicious software, viruses, or harmful code that could damage the platform or other users' systems.
  • Appropriate Use of Tools: Any tools or features provided by the platform must be used as intended. Misuse or manipulation of these tools for harmful or illegal purposes is prohibited.

Consequences for Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with these responsibilities can lead to serious consequences, including:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of your account.
  • Forfeiture of any funds or credits associated with your account.
  • Legal action if your activities violate local, national, or international laws.

Users are encouraged to act in good faith, follow the platform's guidelines, and take their responsibilities seriously. The platform reserves the right to take necessary action to protect its users and maintain a safe, lawful environment for all participants.

Client Contracts

This section explains how clients can create, manage, and enforce contracts with freelancers on the platform. A contract is formed when a client hires a freelancer to complete a project and both parties agree to the terms outlined within the platform’s project system.

Creating a Contract

When a client hires a freelancer, the project’s details, deadlines, deliverables, and payment terms constitute the contract between both parties. Clients must ensure that the project description is comprehensive and clear, as this document forms the basis of the agreement.

Contracts created through the platform are legally binding, meaning both parties are obligated to fulfill their responsibilities under the agreed terms. If changes are needed after the contract is formed, both parties must mutually agree to modify the terms using the platform’s contract management tools.

Key Elements of Client Contracts

  • Scope of Work: The client must clearly define the tasks, deliverables, and timelines to avoid any ambiguity in expectations.
  • Milestones and Payments: Contracts can be structured around specific milestones, with payments tied to the completion of each stage. This provides a clear roadmap for both parties.
  • Revisions: Contracts should outline how many revisions are included within the project scope, ensuring that additional revisions are paid for if they exceed the agreed number.

Contract Enforcement

Both clients and freelancers must adhere to the agreed terms. Failure to meet contractual obligations, such as non-payment or incomplete work, can lead to disputes, mediation, or legal action. The platform’s dispute resolution service is available to mediate conflicts arising from contract violations.

Legal Enforceability

All contracts formed on the platform are governed by the laws outlined in the Governing Law section. In the event of a serious contract breach, the affected party may take legal action to recover damages or enforce contract terms, if necessary.

Final Provisions

This section contains the remaining legal provisions that ensure the integrity and enforceability of the agreement between the platform and its users. These provisions establish the legal framework that governs the use of the platform and address various legal scenarios that may arise.

Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be deemed severable from the remaining provisions, which will continue to remain in full force and effect. This ensures that the invalidity of one clause does not affect the enforceability of the rest of the agreement.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with any documents or policies referenced within, constitute the entire agreement between the platform and the user. This agreement supersedes all prior discussions, negotiations, or understandings, whether oral or written, related to the subject matter herein.

Waiver

The failure of the platform to enforce any right or provision in these Terms and Conditions will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to in writing by the platform. The waiver of any provision in one instance will not affect the ability to enforce it in another.

Assignment

Users may not transfer or assign their rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without the prior written consent of the platform. The platform reserves the right to transfer or assign its rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without restriction or notification.

Force Majeure

The platform shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, and technical failures. Such circumstances are referred to as “Force Majeure” events.

Amendments

The platform reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the platform after the changes are made will be considered acceptance of the amended terms.

Governing Language

These Terms and Conditions are written in [insert language], which shall be the governing language. Any translations provided are for convenience only, and in the event of a conflict between the original and the translation, the original [insert language] version shall prevail.

Editor Interactions

Saving and Loading

The EW Editor provides multiple ways to save and load your work. It includes a quick save feature that stores your work in the browser’s cache, and a full save option that allows you to store files locally on your device. When using quick save, your data is temporarily stored and can be retrieved during the same browser session. However, clearing your cache or closing the browser may result in the loss of your work.

Additionally, the EW Editor will issue a warning if you attempt to reload or close the browser window without saving. Ignoring this warning or disabling it entirely may result in the permanent loss of your content. The platform assumes no liability for any data loss resulting from unsaved content.

File Format

When saving files, the EW Editor uses the proprietary ".ewd" file extension. This ensures that files created with the editor can be reopened and edited at any time. We do not assume responsibility for issues arising from renaming or altering this extension. Always ensure your files are saved with the ".ewd" extension to guarantee compatibility with the editor.

Counter Switch

The EW Editor includes a switch that can toggle the display of information about the document’s content. When enabled, the counter provides the following details:

  • Word Count (W): The total number of words in the document.
  • Character Count (L): The total number of characters, including spaces and special characters.
  • Special Character Count (S): The number of non-alphabetic characters (such as punctuation).
  • Quick Save (Q): A quick save function stores the document in the browser cache for temporary use.
  • Image Count (IMG): The number of images included in the document.
  • Image Size (MB): The total size of all images in the document.
  • Video Count (VID): The number of videos in the document.
  • Video Size (MB): The total size of all videos in the document.
  • Total Document Size: The cumulative size of the entire document, including text, images, and videos.

You can use the "CALCULATE NOW" button to update these values and determine the total document size before saving or publishing.

Ruler Switch

The EW Editor also offers a switch to enable or disable the document ruler. This ruler allows for precise formatting and alignment of your text, ensuring consistency in your document layout. When enabled, the ruler will appear at the top of the text area, providing a visual guide for margins and spacing.

Tip Text Animation Switch

To assist you in creating your content, the editor includes a tips text animation feature. This switch allows you to toggle the display of animated tips and guidance while you work. These tips provide helpful suggestions and shortcuts to improve your workflow. Disabling the feature will hide the tips until re-enabled.

Music Player Switch

The music player switch allows you to enable or disable background music while using the EW Editor. When turned off, the music player will no longer appear in the editor interface.

The EW Editor includes a comprehensive set of text formatting and document management tools, which are accessible via the following buttons and options:

  • CSS Text Area: Here, you can input custom CSS styles to customize the look of your document. This area provides real-time previews of your CSS changes.
  • HTML Preview: This read-only area shows the generated HTML code of your document, allowing you to see the final structure of your content.
  • Class Search: This text area allows you to search for CSS classes used in the document, making it easier to manage and apply consistent styles.

Buttons available in the editor include:

Editor Musicplayer

The EW Editor Music Player is designed solely to play background music while you work within the editor. Its purpose is to enhance the user's experience by providing a relaxed and enjoyable environment during content creation. The music is not part of the content you are working on, but is intended for personal use while using the editor.

Music Selection and Playlist

The music selection in the EW Editor Music Player may vary, offering a range of genres. However, there is no specific focus on one particular music style. The music provided can be one of three types:

  • Copyrighted Music: Music created by artists with whom we have the legal rights to distribute within the editor environment.
  • AI-Generated Music: Tracks generated by artificial intelligence specifically for use within the EW Editor.
  • Copy-Free Music: Music that is free from copyright restrictions, provided for your enjoyment.

Restrictions on Music Usage

It is important to note that all music played within the EW Editor Music Player is strictly for personal use within the context of the editor. Users are expressly prohibited from downloading, copying, distributing, or using the music for any commercial or non-commercial purposes outside of the EW Editor.

Specifically, you are not permitted to:

  • Download or save the music files to your local device.
  • Sell or redistribute the music in any form.
  • Use the music in any personal or commercial projects, such as videos, podcasts, or advertisements.
  • Claim the music as your own or modify it for further distribution.

Any unauthorized use of the music from the EW Editor Music Player may result in legal action, including penalties or claims for damages. We take copyright protection very seriously, and violations of these restrictions can lead to the suspension of your account and access to the EW Editor platform.

Consequences for Violating Music Policies

Users who fail to comply with these music usage policies will face consequences, which may include:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of your EW & Collaboration account.
  • Legal action for copyright infringement, including financial penalties or lawsuits.
  • Permanent ban from accessing or using any services provided by the EW Editor platform.

By using the EW Editor Music Player, you agree to abide by these terms and acknowledge that any violation of these rules could lead to serious consequences. If you have any questions regarding the use of music in the editor, please contact our support team for clarification.

Editor CSS

The EW Editor allows users to implement custom CSS to enhance or alter the appearance of their documents. However, it is strongly recommended that only users with a solid understanding of CSS, or those who are actively learning, engage with this feature. Incorrect or poorly written CSS can drastically affect the design and layout of your document, leading to unintended visual issues.

Potential Risks of CSS Usage

While CSS can be a powerful tool for improving your document’s aesthetics, it can also introduce problems if not used correctly. Issues such as broken layouts, unreadable text, or non-responsive designs are common if the CSS is not properly implemented. Once saved and uploaded, a document with faulty CSS can display incorrectly across different devices, especially if it is not made responsive.

We do not take responsibility for any errors or design failures caused by improper use of CSS. It is crucial that users thoroughly review and test their CSS before finalizing their documents. Always make sure to check for responsiveness, ensuring that your document looks good on all screen sizes, from mobile phones to large desktops.

CSS Validation and Testing

To help users avoid mistakes, the EW Editor includes built-in tools such as the CSS Inspector and a CSS validation function. These tools allow you to preview your changes and test the CSS for errors before applying it to your document. We recommend using these features extensively to experiment and familiarize yourself with how CSS works in the context of your document.

It's advised to start small—experiment with simple CSS changes, observe the effects, and gradually progress to more complex design adjustments. This approach will help you avoid overwhelming issues and ensure your document remains visually appealing and functional.

Support for CSS Issues

Should you encounter any serious problems with your CSS or if your document becomes unusable due to design errors, our support team is available to assist. While we cannot take responsibility for CSS-related mistakes, we are happy to help you find an appropriate solution or provide guidance on how to fix the issue.

Chat & Messages

Our platform provides a chat and messaging feature that allows clients, freelancers, and users to communicate efficiently. This feature is designed to facilitate project discussions, contract negotiations, and general collaboration. To ensure a respectful, productive, and secure environment, all users must adhere to the following guidelines while using the chat and messaging system.

General Guidelines

  • Professionalism: All communications should remain professional and courteous. Respect others and their viewpoints, even if you disagree.
  • No Offensive Language: Use of discriminatory, abusive, or vulgar language is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, racial slurs, and gender-based insults.
  • No Harassment or Bullying: Any form of harassment, bullying, or intimidation is strictly forbidden. This includes sending repetitive, unwelcome messages or attempting to coerce another user into actions they are not comfortable with.
  • No Political or Religious Discussions: The platform is for professional use only, and discussions around politics, religion, or other potentially divisive topics should be avoided.
  • No Spam or Unsolicited Advertising: Spamming users with advertisements, promotions, or irrelevant messages is not permitted. Keep the conversation focused on work-related matters.

  • No Unauthorized Sharing of Content: Do not share or distribute any content that you do not have the legal rights to distribute, including copyrighted material.

Rules for Client-Freelancer Communication

  • Clear Project Discussions: All discussions related to project scope, timelines, and deliverables should be clear and documented in the chat for transparency. This helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures both parties are on the same page.
  • Use Contracts: All agreements made through chat should be supported by formal contracts when necessary. The chat feature should not replace the need for signed agreements when formal legal documentation is required.
  • Maintain Boundaries: Respect the professional boundaries of other users. Unsolicited requests for personal information or private matters unrelated to the project are discouraged.

Violations of Chat & Message Rules

Violating these chat and message guidelines can result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. We take abuse of the chat system seriously to maintain a safe and respectful community.
